After graduating high school I began working as a seasonal contractor for my neighbor, who owns his own remodeling and design company. I have gone back to Columbus to work with him every summer since high school. While working as a contractor I have learned patience, steady handedness, and a lot about how to work well with people from different backgrounds. These transferable skills have come along with the knowledge of how to complete many work specific tasks like tiling, framing, and flooring. I learned a lot about construction, which is knowledge I plan to use when I own my own home, but I have also learned a lot about working with others and I have developed an eye for detail.
